The RadioActive™ Listener Engagement Platform consists of a streaming app for your listeners and a Content Management System for your staff.
Your listeners download an app branded for your station. They're surprised to see it has more than just an audio stream! You control what they see through an intuitive, web-based content management system designed for ease of use... even by the technically challenged.
Our platform allows you recognize and promote those local businesses that help you keep your lights on. Each individual page within the app can feature one or multiple rotating sponsors, with optional tools for digital coupons, featured placements, and additional in-app visibility.
From volunteer-driven newsrooms to block-formatted programming, our platform allows your staff to share responsibility without the complexity. The content management system features strict role-based permissions, so each staff member only has access to update the content assigned to them.
No staff? A single person can manage it all.
No time? Ask about our in-house content management.
Optional modules include listener reward packages, sponsor packages, promotions packages, and more concepts always under development. Although you may be excited to try everything we have to offer, we actually recommend you don't do it all at once.
By adding features over time, you keep your listeners engaged and give them more reasons to return. Ask us about managed rollouts and phased adoption.
We’re radio people too. Reach out and let’s talk about what the RadioActive™ Listener Engagement Platform can do for your station.

RadioActive Expectations LLC was founded by Jason W. Levy, whose life has long been shaped by radio, technology, and community.
My introduction to broadcasting began at age ten, when my older brother decided radio would be his career. I became his test audience and collaborator, and that early spark eventually led me to change college majors from Computer Science to Radio Broadcasting.
At WRHU, Radio Hofstra University, I served as Public Relations Director, producer, morning show host, and student Program Director. Working within WRHU’s community-focused block programming model reinforced a simple truth: radio is not just content — it is connection.
My interest in computer programming also began early. In tenth grade, a classmate and I launched Petgrams Programming to develop software for the now-forgotten Commodore PET (before the Commodore 64). As a Bulletin Board System operator and founding member of the Long Island Sysop Association, I helped build a network of community computer stores that provided software discounts to our users. These early ventures instilled a lasting appreciation for building tools that help people communicate and create.
After college, I worked in audiotex and voice information services, an early form of interactive audio content delivery via telephone. I worked as freelance voice talent and later spent 18 years as a high school social studies teacher, serving in leadership roles and helping students understand the importance of engaged citizenship.
Ever the entrepreneur, I founded Your Family Movie LLC, preserving family histories through home video digitization and preservation. More recently, I assisted with startup operations for WNRH-LP, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges community stations face in maintaining a modern digital presence.
RadioActive was created to address those challenges — blending decades of radio experience with a lifelong commitment to technology and community. This platform is built not from theory, but from lived experience.
Call me and let's make RadioActive™ your station's official Listener Engagement Platform.
